The short version of what buying from Noresys involves. Full terms accompany the quotation; where they conflict with this page, the quotation governs.

Who you are buying from

Nordic Retail Systems AS, company number 838 218 822, is Modern Expo's Norwegian distributor. The equipment is manufactured by Modern Expo. We sell it, coordinate delivery and installation, and are your counterparty in the agreement.

Price and payment

Prices are given in a quotation, not on this site. Invoice, paid by bank transfer. This is a business-to-business sale: the Norwegian consumer purchase and right-of-withdrawal acts do not apply.

Warranty

The warranty is the manufacturer's, and it is conditional. Modern Expo states 12 months from activation, provided installation and activation take place within one month of transfer to the buyer and are carried out by the manufacturer's own representatives or by fitters it has certified, confirmed by a signed commissioning act.

Without certified installation the warranty is 14 calendar days from transfer. That is not a detail: it is the difference between a year of cover and a fortnight, and it is why we do not commission refrigeration before we have an agreement with a certified Norwegian service partner.

Till systems

Self-checkouts and Conveniq are supplied as hardware with the fiscal module disconnected, to be connected to a till system already declared under the Norwegian cash register act by whoever answers for that software.

What we do not undertake yet

We do not quote delivery times until we have completed a Norwegian project. We do not undertake service on refrigeration until we have an agreement with a certified Norwegian service partner with a stated response time. Until then we sell and deliver the equipment, and we say so out loud.

Disputes

Norwegian law applies. If we disagree, we try to settle it directly before anyone takes it further.
